Muskogee, OK

Angela Deneen Wilbourn, 54, of Muskogee, was born on November 14, 1971, to Charles and Mary Lou (Merrill) O’Neal, and passed away on March 8, 2026, in Tulsa, surrounded by her family.

A creative spirit, Angela found deep joy in painting and continued to develop her artistic skills through classes, always eager to explore and share her imaginative gifts. She was an adventurous traveler who loved discovering new places and experiences. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother whose children and grandchildren were the center of her world. She remained actively involved in their lives, offering unwavering support and taking immense pride in every milestone they reached.

A proud lifelong resident of Muskogee, Angela graduated from Hilldale High School and later from Connors State College. She built a meaningful career with the Department of Veterans Affairs, specializing in VA Education and supporting veterans until her retirement in 2023. A faithful member of Community Gospel Center, she cherished her church family and found strength and joy in worship and fellowship.

Angela is now reunited with her father, Charles O’Neal. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Brian Wilbourn of Muskogee; her sons, Justin O’Neal and wife Caitlinn, and Levi Patterson and wife Caitlynn, both of Muskogee; her daughter, Bridget Alverson and husband Cody of Muskogee; her mother, Mary Lou O’Neal of Muskogee; her brother, Travis O’Neal and wife Alesa of Muskogee; her nephews, Ty O’Neal, Wyatt O’Neal and wife Jade of Muskogee; her grandchildren, Titan Mayfield, Carson Alverson, Sophia Patterson, Emma Alverson, Charlie Alverson, Aurora Alverson, Everlea Patterson, Eevie Alverson, and Bella O’Neal, all of Muskogee; extended family; and many friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
