Gonzalez, 84, of Casselberry, Florida, passed away on March 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.Born on October 17, 1941, in Aguada, Puerto Rico, Angel was a man of quiet determination and steadfast commitment. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, carrying with him the values of honor and service throughout his life. He earned his finance degree from the University of Puerto Rico in 1970, and return to government service in technology that would span decades. As a computer data analyst for the Orange County government in Florida, Angel was a dedicated professional.Angel moved to Casselberry from Puerto Rico with his family in 1980, where they built a vibrant life rooted in family and community.A devout Catholic, Angel was a parishioner of St. Augustine Catholic Church since 1980. His faith was central to his identity, guiding his moral compass, generosity, and kindness, the values he passed on to his family.Angel's greatest joy came from spending time with his family, catching up with friends and family on the telephone, and enjoying the rich culinary traditions of his Puerto Rican heritage. His home was a gathering place, where family and friends were welcomed with warmth, laughs, and food.Angel is survived by his four sons, Angel, Manuel, Luis, and Ricardo; his brothers Osvaldo and Herminio; and nine grandchildren and one great grandson, who all cherish his memory and the legacy of hard work, family devotion, and cultural pride that he instilled in them.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aida, after 45 years of marriage.Angel L.
