Andrew V. Casale

Andrew V. Casale, 92, of Pompton Plains, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born in Paterson to Nicholas and Margaret Casale, Andy grew up in Totowa. In 1962, he married his beloved wife, Gloria Bonafide, and the couple settled in Pompton Plains in 1967, where they raised their seven children together.

Andy enjoyed a long and successful career with Pepperidge Farm, advancing to District Sales Manager before becoming an independent distributor. This choice reflected the deep value he placed on spending time with his family long before work-life balance became a common phrase. A lifelong lover of dogs, he bred boxers at several points in his life. He was an avid reader and passionate sports fan who fervently cheered for his Rangers, Giants, Patriots, and Mets.

Above all, Andy was devoted to his family. He took great pride in the life he and Gloria built together and instilled in their children the importance of integrity, loyalty, hard work, and love.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 64 years, Gloria; his children, Margaret Cuidera, Janice Gueren, Andrew Casale and his wife Gina, Nicholas Casale and his wife Susan, Michael Casale and Tammy, Laura Casale, and Melissa Paulison; his brother, Philip Casale and his wife Adele; his grandchildren, Erika, Shannon, Matthew, Hunter, Lauren, Cole, Andrew, Bella, and Christopher; and his great-grandchildren, Shea and Briana.
