Kupiec Jr., 84, of Parma, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026.Andrew was a graduate of Parma High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963. While stationed in Newport, Rhode Island, he met his future wife, Carole. The two shared a loving marriage for 61 years before her passing in 2024.Andrew was employed as a machinist at Barth Industries until his retirement.He was a passionate sports fan who loved cheering for the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes, a tradition he proudly passed on to his daughter and grandchildren.Andrew found happiness in taking bike rides and long walks through the Metroparks, golfing, vacationing with family and friends, and simply relaxing while sharing stories about his childhood and his days in the Navy.One of Andrew's greatest joys was serving as the marriage officiant at his granddaughter Mariah's wedding.He was the devoted husband of the late Carol Kupiec and the beloved son of the late Andrew and Lillian Kupiec.He was the loving father of Randi Kupiec and the world's best grandpa (Pa) to David (Alishia), Mariah (Chad), Timothy, Zachary, and Lauren. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Cali, Korbin, and Kepley.Andrew was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Kupiec and sister Rosalie (Frank) Salerno. He will be remembered with love by his nieces, nephews, and friends.Visitation will take place from 2-6 P.M. on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Tomon & Sons Funeral Home, 7327 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Hts, 44130. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, March 30, 2026, at St. Bridget of Kildare Catholic Church, 5620 Hauserman Rd, Parma, 44130. Please meet at the church. Inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 2:15 P.M. Please meet at the cemetery no earlier than 2 P.M.
