Andrew B. Horezga
August 24, 1982— March 7, 2026
South Amboy, NJ
Andrew B. Horezga was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, and lived in South Amboy his entire life. He graduated with honors from St. Mary’s High School, where he served as captain of the hockey team, and later attended Rutgers University–New Brunswick at Cook College.
Throughout his life, Andrew pursued knowledge with passion and became a skilled woodworker, entrepreneur, and patent-holding inventor. Gregarious, creative, intensely curious, and naturally gifted, he had a special way of making everyone around him smile and share in his humor and warmth. He embraced rigorous exercise, taking up boxing and bodybuilding, and grew exceptionally strong and fit. After Hurricane Sandy, he taught himself to demolish and rebuild, personally restoring his family home.
Predeceased by his father, Walter L. Horezga, Andrew is survived by his mother, Mary Horezga; his siblings, Walter B. Horezga (wife Renee Krupa and daughter Eliana Krupa), Mary A. Horezga, Joseph B. Horezga (wife Megan Arico-Horezga), and Theresa Horezga (husband and Andrew’s close friend, Edward Leung); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
