Andrea Schneider

March 2, 1975 March 10, 2026

Wellesley, MA

Andrea Paroskie Schneider, 51, of Wellesley, Massachusetts, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on March 2, 1975, in Boston, Andrea grew up in Arlington and Lexington before attending Hobart and William Smith College in Geneva, New York, where she majored in Art History. She went on to build a career in both advertising and the nonprofit sector, most recently devoting her time and energy to Dignity Matters, a Massachusetts-based organization working to end period poverty by providing essential menstrual products, bras, and underwear to those in need.

Above all, Andrea was a devoted mother who poured her whole heart into raising her children. She made it her priority to surround her family with a diverse community of friends and experiences, first as a young mother in the San Francisco Bay Area and later in Boston. Hiking, camping, national park visits, dinner clubs, book clubs, and weekend adventures were all carefully planned with purpose and joy. Kind, hardworking, thoughtful, and remarkably organized, Andrea approached every part of life with the same enthusiasm. She cherished time spent skiing in Vermont, traveling to distant places, experimenting with new recipes, reading, and running.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Schneider; her son, Cody Schneider; her daughter, Phoebe Schneider; her mother, Janet Damiata; her father, Robert Paroskie; her sister, Allison Wheeler; and her brother, Robert Paroskie. Those who knew her will remember a woman who lived a short but remarkably full life defined by action, purpose, and deep love for her family and community.
