Andrea Kay Klawinski

Andrea Kay Klawinski, age 74 of Bay City, Michigan, passed away on March 11, 2026 with her family by her side. Born on January 19, 1952 in Bay City, she graduated from Bay City All Saints in 1970 and continued her education at Delta College. Andrea spent more than 40 years working for the United States Post Office, where she took genuine delight in her customers, many of whom became like family to her. She was known for her kindness to neighborhood dogs, who would eagerly run to meet her mail truck knowing a treat awaited them.

Her nieces and nephews were the light of Andrea’s life, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was the life of every gathering, bringing laughter wherever she went.

Andrea is survived by her significant other, Dave Laur; her siblings, Pauline (Rick) Dishaw, Robert (Minx) Klawinski, Lawrence (Karen) Klawinski, Richard (Judi) Klawinski, and Kathleen Strain; and her nine nieces and nephews, Maegan (Jake), Kayla (Abe), Kyle, Roman (Jacqui), Brad (Alexis), Raleigh, Zac (Emily), Peyton (Allison Ann), and Cade (Alexis). She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Joan (Rabideau) Klawinski, her brother David Klawinski, and her brother-in-law Dr. Eric Strain.
