Ancilla Parent

The memory of Ancilla Parent of Scarborough, Maine, who passed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel J. Vermette and Edith C. Vermette (Chalout); her husband Lorne Parent, Jr.; and her brothers, Gildo Vermette, Robert Vermette and Joshua Betts.

She is survived by: her children, Lorna Missud (Fletcher) of Wells, Donna Betts of Scarborough, Jennifer Giguere (Eric) of Westbrook and Douglas; and her sister Ronella Hanson (Daniel Field) of Saco. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church (150 Black Point Rd, Scarborough, ME 04074).
