Anbut "Umbe" Brutus

Anbut “Umbe” Brutus was born on September 24, 1992. From the moment he entered the world, he brought strength, laughter, and protection to those around him. Known for his big smile and confident spirit, he carried a deep love for his family that shaped every part of his life.

Umbe stood tall in every role he held. He was a devoted son, a proud father, a protective brother, a caring uncle, and a loyal friend. Family was everything to him, and he made certain that those he loved felt supported and safe. After overcoming early challenges, he worked hard to build a better future for himself and his children. He became a supervisor at Precast in Fort Pierce, Florida, where his strong work ethic and natural leadership earned the respect of his coworkers, who became an important part of his life.

Umbe lived with courage, determination, and pride. Whether he was on the job, sharing laughter with family, or quietly helping someone in need, he showed up with his whole heart. Though his time was cut short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain with everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Phenia Brutus and Belony Brutus; his children, Denisha Brutus, Antravious Brutus, Zarian Brutus, and Zaidyn Brutus; his siblings, Sherlonda Fortune, Lordumie Fortune, Juliker Monfort, Jean Monfort, Julson Monfort, Julydod Monfort, Fedson Delcis, Javon Delcis, Juveline Nonnombre, and Jude Nonnombre; his uncles, Estenor Fortune and Gammariel Occeas; his aunts, Betty Erin Occeas and Olienne Fortune; his godmother, Christelene Fortune; and his cousins, Afdana Fortune, Bedanie Fortune, Sherton Fortune, Chanotte Fortune, Darline Fortune, Nelson Fortune, Nordia Fortune, Chrischelle Fortune, Bison Fortune, Gadelia Occeas, Neveline Nonnombre, and Dashline Nonnombre, along with a host of other loving family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
