Amy R. Powell

Amy R. Powell of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away on March 3, 2026. She is remembered with deep affection by her three daughters, Demitri Powell, Dr. Dana (Daryl) Powell Baker, and Monique Powell; her two granddaughters, Courtney Bostic and Darah Baker; her siblings, Jacqueline Davis, Ernestine (Berle) Williams, Calvin Owens, and William (Shari) Owens; and her beloved grandpuppy, Raza. She also leaves behind many other loving relatives and friends whose lives she touched.

Throughout her life, Amy was a devoted mother and grandmother whose quiet strength and warm presence brought comfort and joy to her family. She cherished her children and grandchildren, taking great pride in their accomplishments and sharing in their everyday moments. Her caring spirit extended beyond her immediate family, creating lasting bonds with those fortunate enough to know her.

Amy’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. In keeping with her compassionate nature, her family invites donations in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
