It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Powell of Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed away on March 3, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Amy Powell to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by: her daughters, Demitri Powell, Dr. Dana Powell Baker (Daryl) and Monique Powell; her granddaughters, Courtney Bostic and Darah Baker; and her siblings, Jacqueline Davis, Ernestine Williams (Berle), Calvin Owens, William Owens (Shari) and Raza. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Legacy Chapel (8968 Fayetteville Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30238). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel (8968 Fayetteville Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30238). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at the Georgia National Cemetery.
