Amy Lynn Harris

September 1, 1987 – March 8, 2026

Amy Lynn Harris, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Vineyard, Utah, at the age of 38 after a courageous four-year battle with cancer.

Amy was born on September 1, 1987, in Provo, Utah. She grew up surrounded by family and the beauty of Utah Valley; a place she would continue to call home throughout her life. Amy was authentic, honest, loving, and had the incredible ability to make friends with just about anybody.

Above all else, Amy loved her family. She shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Matt, and together they built a home filled with love, music, football, dance, and fun as they raised their five children. Amy’s greatest joy came from being a mother to Brooks (12), Remi (11), Coy (9), Parks (8), and Covey (4). She poured her heart into her family and created a life where her children always knew they were deeply loved and supported.

Amy had a way of making people feel welcome and valued. Whether with family, friends, or neighbors, she carried a genuine kindness that left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Her love, patience, and steady presence will be remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Amy refused to let cancer define her and refused to quit living during her fight. She loved to travel, specifically anywhere warm and sunny, especially Lake Powell and the beach. Even in her darkest, most painful and miserable moments, she still made the choice to be present especially when it came to her kids and their many activities. Whether it was football games in the rain, all-day dance concerts and competitions, early morning basketball games, family outings, and many more. Amy loved life and lived much longer than expected considering her diagnosis.

Amy is survived by her loving husband, Matt, and their children Brooks, Remi, Coy, Parks, and Covey. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Michael Vanchiere, who we are sure welcomed her with open arms.

Amy’s life inspired thousands of people, and her absence will be felt by all those who know and love her.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Amy’s life and the love she brought into the world.
