Amber Albertoni ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Healey Mortuary and Crematory on Mar. 10, 2026.Amber Lee Albertoni said her final goodbyes Saturday, February 28th surrounded by family and friends. Amber's life was delighted by becoming a wife and mother. In these roles she shined brighter than any star and as we know even when a star is gone its light still stretches across the galaxy forever. In her light is husband Jordan, sons Logan and Leland, daughter Lennon, Mother and Father- Karen and Michael, and sister Kaye. Amber's light touched so many it would be impossible to list everyone who is brighter because of her. She was adored as a daughter, cousin, niece, and grandchild and at the age of 10 she was gifted an adoring baby sister. With 10 years between, Amber was the big sister and at times like a second mother. She spent her childhood playing with friends, riding her bike, skating through the neighborhood, and making friends that stayed close forever. Andria may have been the very first and was with her until the very end, but through pictures and memories we all find ourselves there. El Gabilan school yard we remember well. Through the neighborhood with the Marples, Jenkinsons, Stockons, Stahls, and Albertonis. We all came up together. Through her Grandpa Lee and her mother Karen, she became a child of the Rodeo. She often rode her horse, Skipper, and helped care for many others. In high school, she was an avid swimmer and volleyball player competing all four years. There at Salinas High she continued to grow her vast network of friendships that she carried into adulthood. Out of high school she started working for Monterey County Office of Education in the SPED program. There she befriended so many coworkers who became like motherly figures who still consider her like a daughter to this day. She then began working with blind and visually impaired for many years, even learning to read and use braille. After 25 years, she finished her career as a Program Materials Specialist. She held her workplace friends close to her heart with a special bond - Sue, Michelle, Jen, Desiree, Julia, Terri and countless others. She got so much joy from using her creativity and talents to help make the annual Field Day event what it is today and by taking part in the Special Buckaroos rodeo event. She always gave so much of her heart to these events and to all who were involved. Her greatest joy was being a wife and mother. As a wife, she gave Jordan all her love. She was always there for him and helped him raise his son Logan from the age of 4, never wavering in difficult times. She was lovingly embraced by the Albertonis - Rhonda and Joe, Noni Alice, Kathy, and Anna and in 2017, she gave birth to Leland followed by Lennon in 2022. A child increases your capacity for love like you could never imagine and they did just that for Amber. A river of love that will never stop flowing.Amber loved camping with family in Big Sur and Kings Canyon, going to concerts and comedy shows, and she was a shining example of community member. She was a dedicated committee member at the Salinas Rodeo and never missed a year. She impressively planned her children's birthday parties with decor that could put a Hollywood movie to shame, putting effort to the littlest details that made the biggest difference. With her friends she loved hiking, sharing stories, venting, throwing themed parties, and was always the best support and shoulder for others. She was a part of many tight friend groups like the one she shared with Sara, Tara, Shay, Becky, Jane, and more. She also kept close ties with her Mommy & Me friends Season, Olivia, Nicole, and so many others. Even the disease that sent her to the angels couldn't dim her light because in that time she gained another family of friends in her care team. Nurses like Lauren, Terrie, Ashley, Sherri, and the entire OPI often shared that it felt like Amber was the one taking care of them when she came for treatment. All of her special people are forever in her light, an Amber light.Forever Amber. Please join us Sunday March 15th at the Salinas Rodeo Grounds from 1PM - 6PM to celebrate the life, love, and legacy of our beloved Amber. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
