Amanda Jean Sawyer

We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2026, at the age of 57, Amanda Jean Sawyer of Hempstead, Texas, born in Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Jan Johnson; her brother Derek Johnson; and her son Thomas Sawyer, Jr. (Amanda). She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Ed" Sawyer Sr.; her children, Jerrod Sawyer (Tricia Sawyer), Timothy Willis, Shawn Willis (Brittany Willis) and Robin Stiltner (Jason Stiltner); her grandchildren, Kaileigha Sawyer, Remington Lilly, Rylei Lilly, Brelyn Stiltner, Noah Sawyer, Micah Sawyer, Nehemiah Sawyer and Cordeleigha Sawyer; her mother Sheila Johnson; her sister Andi Wilson (Steve Wilson); and her sibling's children, Max Wilson, Rex Wilson and Fox Wilson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the The Switch (700 12th St, Hempstead, TX 77445).
