He is survived by: his wife Charlotte King Hensley; his daughter Alissia Hensley (Haskell Payne) of Chuckey; his grandchildren, Natosha Lawson (Garrett), Travis Fowler (Courtney), Autumn Knight (Tyler) and Madisyn Whittemore; his great grandchildren, Bentley Fowler, Axel Fowler, Emilia Lawson, Beau Lawson, Anakin McCormick and Lelaina McCormick; his siblings, Arnold Hensley (Sheila), James Brown Hensley and Kathleen Conduff; and his pet Littlun. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home and Chapel (720 Ohio Ave, Erwin, TN 37650). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at the Liberty Cemetery (91 Guy Brown Rd, Chuckey, TN 37641).
