Alverado was born on April 2, 1930 to the late Dewsaran Tewari and Elizabeth Gray in Kingston, Jamaica. Alverado was a member of the Central Parkway Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and listening to and recording from transistor radios. But, most of all he enjoyed his time as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Other than his parents, Alverado is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Violet Tewari, sisters Dawn Gray, Monica LeRay and brother Bobby Tewari. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Eva Tewari; sons Alexander Tewari, Trevor Tewari, Leon (Valerie) Daley, Rojer (Gloria) Tewari and Omar (Mayra) Tewari; and eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brother Leslie (Paula) Britton and sisters-in-law Pearline Kates and Leanora Clarke; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, etc. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Osceola Memory Gardens, Kissimmee Chapel from 4-8PM.
