Mr. Alton Gatewood, 69, entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2026. Born on April 17, 1956, he was the son of the late Luther Owens and Alma Wilson.
Alton is survived by his four brothers, David Gatewood, James Eddie Gatewood, Leonard Harrison (Dorothy), and Franklin Gatewood, and his sister, Patricia Kirksey. He also shared a special bond with his nephew, Rev. Wayne Owens. He will be remembered with love and gratitude by his family and all who knew him.
