Althea F. Kreider

Althea F. Kreider, 84, of Turbotville, passed away on March 10, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on December 18, 1941 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Christian B. and Ethel E. (Reitzel) Worth. Althea spent 26 years working in the payroll department for the Warrior Run School District before retiring. She was a dedicated member of the Warrior Run Heritage Society, where she found connection through local history and community ties.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephany L. Fletcher, of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Elizabeth D. Fletcher and Harold T.C. Fletcher, both of Pittsburgh; a brother, Robert Worth, of Arizona; and two sisters, Jacklyn D. Wertz, of Willow Street, Pennsylvania, and Louise Reardon, of Lancaster. In addition to her parents, Althea was preceded in death by her son, Steven J. Kreider, and her sister, Lorraine E. Trimble.
