Altha B. Brown was born on April 26, 1933, in Cameron, LA to the late Ernest P. Andrews and Cornelious Moss Andrews and a resident of Baton Ronge, Louisiana for the past 28 years.A cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, Altha B. Brown fell asleep in death on March 06, 2026, at The Hospice of Baton Rouge's Butterfly Wing.She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and was known for her devotion to Jehovah and her appreciation for Bible trues. She will be remembered for her kindness, faith, and the love she showed to family, friends, and fellow believers.Those who knew Altha find comfort in the Bible's promise of the resurrection, as recorded at John 5:28, 29, which assures the hope of seeing loved ones again under God's Kingdom.Altha lived for family, friends, and coffee. She never met a stranger and held an open door to all. Anytime there were visitors, there was an offer for coffee, her favorite beverage.She loved flowers and was an avid arranger. She began her floral career at Dot's Flower Shop in Cameron, LA. When she decided to move to Lake Charles, Cosmetology became part of her life. Her love for hair styling and flowers brought her to be employed at Combre's Flower Shop, where she worked until she retired.Altha was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Ruby Andrews George and Ernest Lee Andrews, husband, Peter J. Brown, daughter Emily B. Frazier, grandson David A. Druilhet and great-grandson Eric L. Frazier II.She is survived by her children Delores (Douglas) Dozier, Carleton (Leasia) Bishop, Valarie (Benny) Druilhet, and Barry D. Frazier, Sr. (son-in-law). Through that lineage she became a great-great-grandmother.Her great nephew and nieces are included in survivors.Revelation 21:4 'And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
