Alonzo Lamont Johnson

Alonzo Lamont Johnson, 52, of Syracuse, New York, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2026. Born and raised in Syracuse, he lived in Texas from 2014 until his death.

Alonzo took great pride in his appearance and was known for always dressing sharply and presenting himself with style. A deeply family-oriented man, he cared profoundly for those closest to him, leaving behind many cherished memories with the people who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Cyndria Johnson, Javon Johnson, Adastee Grant, and Malayiaa Scott; his beloved grandchildren, Niez Jones, Aubrey Flagg, True Blue, Kali Johnson, Kamaiya Johnson, and Khloe Johnson; and his siblings, Felicia (Herman Williams) Johnson, Zanie Johnson, Ron Spivey, Ty Ervin Spivey, and Camara Bass, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Alonzo was predeceased by his mother, Martha Spivey, and his father, Alonzo Frank Johnson, Jr. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
