Alma Tolle

Alma “Robbie” Tolle, age 88, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on August 26, 1937, in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, to H. Gordon and Irene Robertson, she graduated from Alliance High School and earned a Bachelor of Science from Mount Union College. She remained at Mount Union as a dedicated employee from 1972 until her retirement in 2006.

Robbie found quiet pleasure in tending her houseplants and watching birds. She cherished the many pets that shared her life over the years. Above all, her greatest joy came from her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the heart of her world.

She is survived by her sons Geoffrey Tolle and Adam (Jenny Mills) Tolle, her daughter Claudia (Eric) McGaffick, grandchildren Yeshua (Zoe) Tolle, Nicole (Josh) Fischer, Avery Tolle, Merry Tolle, Molly McGaffick, and Morgan McGaffick, and great-granddaughter Tatum Fischer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Stuart Tolle, her sister Margaret Ann Beran, and her brother Gordon Robertson.
