Alma Lee Clark

Alma Lee Clark, 91, of Wayne, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Heritage Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

Born on September 10, 1934, in Kiahsville, West Virginia, Alma was the daughter of Henry Maynard and Flora Endicott Maynard. A devoted homemaker, she was a longtime member of the Salem United Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Clark; a sister, Doralene Clark; and three brothers, Ken, E.J., and Leo Maynard.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Sanders and husband Carl of Lavalette, West Virginia; three sisters, Cleo Maynard of East Lynn, Carol Mills of Wayne, and Sharon Belcher of Barboursville; three brothers, Ronald Maynard of Huntington, J.W. Maynard and wife Louise of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Wilford Maynard and wife Linda of Wayne; a grandson, Jeremy Sanders and wife Melissa of Wayne; two great-grandchildren, Corey Morgan and wife Audrey of Aurora, Colorado, and Kaylea Morgan and fiancé Nick Pulcrano of Greenville, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Alma’s family will always cherish the gentle, faithful presence she brought to their lives.
