Allen Jay

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Jay in Bedford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Allen Jay to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jay and Orintha Pearl Jay (Tewell); his wife Helen Jeanetta Jay (Browell); and his siblings, Leo F. Jay, Adna Assel, Wanda Shipley and Mary Kathryn Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Catharine (Warren Shatzer) of Clearville, PA, Patricia (A. Edward Clark) of Clearville, PA and Bryan Jay of Artemas, PA.; and his grandchildren, Elaina Carroll, Allie Frear, Luke Clark, Kelley Rohrbaugh, Jacob Jay, Erin Jay-Burket, Nathaniel Clark, Elizabeth Jay and Andrew Jay. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Akers Funeral Home (299 Raystown Rd, Everett, PA 15537). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
