Allan Nicholas James Dito

Allan Nicholas James Dito, known affectionately as Uncle Al, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, at his home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Born on April 1, 1959, in San Francisco, California, to Gilbert and Diana Dito, Allan was the second of their three children. His natural charisma and outgoing personality proved invaluable in the growth and success of the family’s prominent San Francisco specialty food distribution business, Domestic Cheese Company. After graduating from J. Eugene McAteer High School, he joined the company full time and traveled extensively throughout Europe, forging strong relationships with manufacturers and expanding the range of specialty products available to customers.

Later in life, Allan moved to Florida, where he devoted himself to his lifelong passion for building and racing cars. He founded Pimp Juice Racing, and his distinctive 1985 red and white Chevy Celebrity became a familiar sight on the quarter mile as he competed in the Outlaw 632 class. While racing remained his greatest love, time spent on the water came a close second. Family vacations at Shasta Lake, a tradition started by his parents, Gil and Diana, remained a cherished part of life for generations, continuing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Allan brought energy and laughter to every gathering. Gregarious, genuine, and a straight talker, he had a gift for making people smile and left lasting impressions on everyone he met. Preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Diana, and his younger brother, John, Allan is survived by his sister, Linda, his nephew Bret and wife Devon and their children Javaris, Nico, and Frankie, and his niece Tiffany Marie and her daughter Josslyn.
