Alicia Vazquez Rogel

Alicia Vazquez Rogel, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in San Martín Coapaxtengo, Edo de México, Alicia dedicated her life to teaching as a professional educator. Her life stood as a quiet testament to humility, perseverance, and unwavering loyalty.

She found simple joy in tending to her flowers and plants, spending time with her beloved dog and cat, and expressing her creativity through knitting and embroidery. Alicia’s gentle presence and caring spirit touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her children Delia Nava, Julio Nava and his wife Ira, Jaime Nava, and Sandra Barrera; her brothers Alfredo and Eloy; her grandchildren Byanca, Tina, Kevin, Jaime, Kenny, Jessy, Jossue, and Itzel; and dear friends Nicolas and Lupita Padilla, Aurelio and Ma Elena Reyes, along with many others who will cherish her memory with deep affection.
