Alice L. Thompson, 79, of Breezewood, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 11, 2026. She was born on October 25, 1946, in Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Cula (Roher) King.
On April 8, 1965, in Waterfall, Pennsylvania, Alice married Paul Thompson, who survives her along with their daughter Christine Bozzer and her husband Kevin, and their son Paul Thompson Jr. and his wife Becky. She is also survived by her brother George King and his wife Marian; three sisters, Beulah Jane Quick, Zola Thompson and her husband George, and Esther Magee and her friend Curtis; four grandchildren, Jessica Stone and her husband Thomas, Jared Donelson, Jack Anspach, and Abby Pepper; three great-grandchildren, Pierce and Mack Stone, and Grayson Pepper; and two sisters-in-law, Reba King and Barbara King.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Robert, Gerald, and Donald King, and a sister, Martha Neuder.
After high school, Alice built a life centered on hard work, quiet strength, and deep devotion to her family. She began her career at the Everett Sewing Factory, where she formed lasting friendships and earned a reputation for dedication and care. She later worked at the Family House Restaurant in Breezewood before retiring as manager of the local Exxon gas station, a role she approached with pride and steady reliability. Above all, Alice treasured the simple, everyday moments spent with her loved ones—sharing meals, stories, and quiet companionship. She will be remembered for her love, loyalty, and quiet generosity by all who knew her.
