Alice J. Martin

Alice J. (Harrison) Martin, 91, of Big Lake, IN, passed away at 4:55 am on Monday, March 16, 2026, at her residence. Born on January 22, 1935, in Adrian, MI, she was the daughter of Orville and Mildred (Lehman) Harrison.Alice attended North Side High School and graduated with the Class of 1952. She worked for Lake End Sales, Inc., Fort Wayne for 20 Years.Alice enjoyed flowers, gardening, and family gatherings at the lake. She was an avid sports fan of the Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, and IU Basketball.Survivors include her children Chris (Anna Black) Martin and Andy (Anna) Martin, both of Fort Wayne, and Diana (Danny) Allen of Columbia City; grandchildren Nicole Miller, Allison Martin, Aaron Martin, Amber Reid, Austin Allen, Jessica Tomlinson, Cody Allen, and Jordan Allen; great-grandchildren Jenna Miller, Emily Miller, Isaac Miller, Lucy Miller, Crew Harden, Callen Weisenburg, Marcella Reid, Sebastian Reid, Liam Braumberger, Sawyer Allen, and Gracelynn Tomlinson; great-great-granddaughter Bella Ayala; siblings Mary Ann Armey of Fort Wayne and Rodney (Pam) Harrison of Spencerville; many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald "Duke" Martin, sister Susie Crane, and brother-in-law Duane Armey. Friends may call on Friday March 20, 2026, from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.Funeral services for Alice will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday March 20, 2026, at the funeral home.Burial will follow in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
