Besch of Aurora, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026.She was born April 18, 1928, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Irene (Stull) Millen. She married Norman Besch on November 26, 1947. Alice was formerly employed by Rosary High School in Aurora. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Aurora. Alice volunteered for different organizations throughout the years and she loved to crochet.Alice is survived by 6 children, Clifford (Carolyn) Besch of Aurora, Paula Edwards of Oswego, Martha (Ronald) Diederich of Yorkville, Matthew (Moe) Besch of Montgomery, Michael (Mike Fleming) Besch of Seattle, Washington and Amy (Dan) Shultz of Quincy, IL; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2005, her daughter, Claudia Nelson in 2000, her son-in-laws, Johnnie Edwards and Jim Nelson, and 2 sisters, Mona Renee Popp and Mollie Millen.Family will be receiving guests on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 South Broadway, Aurora, IL.
