Alice Aminta Parks (née Deoneto), age 73, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Gulfport, Mississippi. Born on October 18, 1952, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Alice lived a life centered on love, family, and the simple joys that brought her closest to those she cherished.
Daughter of the late Shannon Raley Gibson and Rudolf Castillo Deoneto, Alice was predeceased by her husband, Mike Parks; her sons, Rodney Gibson and Toney Gibson; and her sister, Georgette Hayes. She remained a steadfast source of strength and affection for her family through every loss.
She is survived by her children, Tracy Gibson, Alice Gibson, Jessica Parks, and Mike Parks and his wife, Madison Parks, along with daughters-in-law Susan Gibson and Christie Gibson. Alice’s legacy continues through her grandchildren and all those who felt the warmth of her kindness and vibrant spirit.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Alice found her greatest happiness surrounded by loved ones, whether sharing laughter at family gatherings or creating memories during outdoor adventures. She held a deep passion for everything connected to the water, delighting in fishing, crabbing, boating, and swimming. These pursuits reflected her nurturing nature and the way she wove connection and joy into everyday moments. Her unwavering devotion to family and friends left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
