Gooden, III (Amelia) of Purcellville, VA, Connie Lane (Robert), Augusta and Margaret Maichle (Roger) of Earleville, MD; his grandchildren, Roger, Jr., Damian, Chayce (Amber) and Matthew; and his great grandchild Roger, III.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen (118 W Cross St, Galena, MD 21635). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701).
