Alfred Flores ObituaryVisit the Harrell Funeral Home of Austin website to view the full obituary.Alfred Flores, known to family and friends as Freddy, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 14, 2026, with his son, David, and daughter-in-law, Michelle at his side.Freddy was born on November 18, 1932, in Lockhart, Texas and was the son of Hilaria Muñoz and stepfather Gregorio Muñoz.Freddy held many jobs, and his legacy of labor spanned decades. He was a talented cook and enjoyed creating dishes for his family and friends yet spent his adult life sharing his talent working construction.Alfred was preceded in death by his mother, Hilaria Muñoz and stepfather, Gregorio Muñoz, Rose Flores, Adelina Flores, Isabel (Chavela) Flores and son Tony Flores.He is survived by his sons, Alfredo Muñoz (Jon), Al Muñoz (Shirla), son David and daughter-in-law Michelle; daughters, Elizabeth Ericsson (Jan) and Linda Flores and his beloved grandchildren.His life reflected gentle strength, resilience, and generosity.His family would like to thank his hospice nurse, Alexis of Bluebonnet Hospice for her thoughtful and caring assistance. They would also like to extend a special thank you to David and Michelle for assisting as caretakers during the courageous end of his journey.Visitation will be held at Harrell Funeral Home 4435 Frontier Trail on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026.
