Alfred Bruce Hotchkiss

Alfred Bruce Hotchkiss was born on April 30, 1955, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He lived a full and blessed life, guided by a deep passion for studying God’s word. Alfred found great joy in working on cars, traveling, and exploring the outdoors. As an Eagle Scout in his younger years, he embraced camping, skiing, and jeeping, and he never missed an opportunity to drive—especially in a blizzard. His career as a computer software consultant allowed him to travel the world, a pursuit he cherished. In retirement, he devoted himself to spending cherished time with his children and grandchildren.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Hotchkiss and Wanda Hotchkiss. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Darla Hotchkiss; his son, Tyler Hotchkiss; his daughters, Tiffany Smith (Jacob) and Tenlee Roberts (Thomas); his brother, Steven Hotchkiss; and five beloved grandchildren who will always remember their Papa with deep affection.
