Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.Alexis Rosemarie "Lexi" Owens, age 13, passed away on March 5, 2026. Born on February 28, 2013, Lexi brought immeasurable love, light, and joy to everyone who knew her during her thirteen beautiful years of life. Lexi was the beloved daughter of David Ashley Gaston Owens and the late Jodie Marie Owens. She was a 7th grade student at Chamberlain Middle School, where she shared her bright spirit and kindness with classmates and teachers alike. Lexi was deeply cherished by her family and will always be remembered for her gentle heart and the beautiful smile that could light up any room.Lexi loved God and found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, being around animals, expressing her creativity through art, and listening to music. Lexi adored her two cats, loved riding UTVs, and treasured making memories with her family and her beloved friends. She loved playing percussion in band, was an enthusiastic member of her young girls' basketball team, and enjoyed writing. Lexi also loved traveling and experiencing new places with all her siblings, cherishing the many adventures and special memories they shared together. Her warmth, laughter, and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Lexi will be remembered through acts of kindness and compassion toward others, reflecting the love and warmth she shared so freely. Lexi's light, laughter, and love will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew her.Lexi is survived by her loving father, David Ashley Gaston Owens; her siblings, Ashley Marie Davis (Owens), Daniel Kenneth Bourdeaux III, Kaylee Marie Houck (Bourdeaux), Ethan Edward Owens, Keegan Michael Bourdeaux, Brianna Marie Owens, and Zander Joshua Owens; and her grandparents, Bruce and Rose Moore, Marshall Gaston, Albert and Li Zonts, and Kathleen Zonts.
