Alexander Philip Antram, age 86 of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on March 13, 2026 at Advent Health Gordon.

Born in Rangoon, Burma on September 26, 1939, he was the son of the late Valentine Hugh Antram and the late Hilda Philips Antram. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. Mr. Antram had a deep love for travel and made it a priority to attend every event in his grandchildren’s lives, no matter the distance. Known affectionately as “the Candy Man,” he delighted in handing out candy to bring smiles to those around him. He was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished his family, enjoyed watching the news, and found joy in playing with his dogs. He was a longtime member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his four daughters, Jannica Antram, Noelle Richards (Rodney), Shannon Dukes (Todd), and Wendy Moreland (Rob); six grandchildren, Jordon Dukes (Abigail), Dylan Cromer, Madison Dukes, Winter Robinson, Alexis Cromer, and Kylie Helton; four great-grandchildren, Adeline, Oaklynn Rose, Aurora, and Charlie; and two sisters, Geraldine O’Connor and Dawn Selim (Mostafa).
