Boyertown, PA
Alexander Anthony Guzik, of Boyertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 21, 1940, in Norristown, he was the son of the late Alex and Mary (Welgus) Guzik. He was the brother of Betty Keeley and the late James Keeley, and Robert Guzik and his wife Carmella.
Alex shared 25 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Netta Forrest-Guzik. He was the beloved father of David Guzik and his wife Margo, and Charlene Gilbertson and her husband Matthew. He cherished his grandchildren, Bret Guzik, Dawson Guzik and his wife Meaghan, Brinley Guzik, Madeline Gilbertson, and Caitlin Gilbertson, and took great pride in his great-grandchildren, Brayden Guzik, Weston Guzik, and Carter Guzik.
A skilled union machinist, Alex worked for more than 20 years at Philadelphia Gear Corporation, where he advanced to Supervisor of the Assembly Department. He later built a second career in construction management and insurance claims support, first with F.B. Davis Sons and then as President and Owner of Coventry Construction Management, before retiring. In his retirement, he found joy in cooking, tending to his lawn, and deer hunting in Potter County, a passion he maintained for over 60 years. Earlier in life, he enjoyed surf fishing in Hatteras, tackling DIY projects around his home, and playing baseball.
