Alex Christian Boyd

August 14, 1996 March 5, 2026

Oklahoma City, OK

Alex Christian Boyd, 29, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on March 5, 2026. Born on August 14, 1996, to Scott and Angela Boyd, Alex brought laughter and light into the lives of everyone who knew him. His warm, contagious laugh had a way of lifting the spirit of any room he entered.

He was a beloved son to Scott and Sheridan Boyd and to Shane and Angela Estus. Alex was a grandson, the future husband of Lacey Bowman and father to her children, and a big brother to Emily Hastings and November Boyd. Since 2012, he had the joy of being a stepbrother to Leslie, Mathew, Clayton, and Gabe, and he cherished their families. He was also a cherished uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Above all, he proudly carried the title of Child of God and loved sharing the love of Jesus with others.

Alex enjoyed discovering new music, bowling, eating, and gathering with family for meals, games, and conversation. He was known for his humorous plea, “You want to go eat somewhere? By the way, I’m broke—can you pay?” In 2013, he was involved in an automobile accident that resulted in a right below-knee amputation and interrupted his education at Deer Creek High School. In the years that followed, he struggled with physical, emotional, and spiritual healing until he and his family connected with the ministry Beautiful Restoration. There, Alex began a meaningful journey of restoration. He learned to release past hurts, immersed himself in the study of Scripture, and applied God’s Word to his daily life. In 2019, he rededicated his life to Jesus and was baptized again. He developed a deep love for worship music and was always eager to share a song request during Bible study.

Alex will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, yet he will live on in their hearts and memories.
