Aldo Calvetti ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home - Del Rio on Mar. 5, 2026.Aldo Calvetti, son of Dora Linda Calvetti and the late Ramiro H. Calvetti, was born on May 12, 1974, in Del Rio, Texas. Aldo spent his life rooted in the town he called home. His earthly journey ended on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in the same hometown where his life began.Aldo was the kind of person who truly never met a stranger. His warm smile, easy conversation, and genuine heart made everyone feel welcome in his presence. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and would give anything he could to someone in need-even the shirt off his back. Those who knew him will always remember his big heart and the way he made people feel like family. One of Aldo's greatest joys in life was cooking and grilling. The kitchen and backyard grill were places where his love for others truly shined. Preparing meals for family and friends was more than a hobby-it was his love language. He found happiness in bringing people together, sharing laughter, stories, and food made with care. Many cherished memories were created around his table, where no one ever left hungry and everyone felt at home.Aldo is survived by his beloved wife, Pattie Flores; his children, Ariel Calvetti, Ariana Calvetti (Emilio Reyna), and Kassandra Calvetti; and his granddaughters, Isabella Salgado, Sophia Reyna, and Aurelia Reyna. He is also survived by his sisters, Mayte Gallardo (Manuel) and Naila Calvetti (Debbie); his nephews, Cristian Gallardo and Oliver Calvetti; and his uncles, Raúl Calvetti, David Calvetti (Cathy), Robert Calvetti (Delma), and Reginaldo Ramon, as well as the family of his beloved wife, including her sister, Audrey Jimenez (Michael), and her brother, Robert Calvetti Jr. (Bianca) and their children. He also leaves behind his goddaughter, Alessandra Jimenez. Aldo leaves behind numerous cousins and many dear friends who were like extended family and whose lives were touched by his kindness.Aldo will also be deeply missed by his beloved pets, Molly, Zeus, and Luna, who were faithful companions and cherished members of his family.A visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a recitation of the holy rosary at 6:00 PM, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N.
