Alcides Silva

Alcides Silva was born in Cuba on January 2, 1936 to Flor Maria Pupo and Miguel Silva. He passed away peacefully in Miami, Florida on March 5, 2026 at the age of 90, surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of New York, Alcides lived a full life marked by quiet strength and deep devotion to those he loved.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lucila Silva, and their children Vicente, Michael, Marlyn, and Ericka. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Krystal, Vincent, Odalys, Manuel, Jessica, Vanessa, Zane, and Luna, as well as his great-grandchildren Riley and Austin. Alcides was predeceased by his siblings Belkis, Herber, and Walter.

He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather whose presence brought comfort and stability to his family across three generations.
