Born in New Rochelle, NY to Albert Ovilla Prud'homme and Rita Rose Moshier Prud'homme. He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Hazzard; grandsons Jace and Silas; and siblings. He was preceded in death by daughter, Cherilyn Jane Crawford; son-in-law James (Ali) Hazzard. An Eagle Scout and U.S. Army veteran, Al later graduated from Mercer University. Services will be held 5/8/2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC with gathering to follow.
