Albert Fredrick Perschon, born November 6, 1932, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Walter H. Perschon and Bertha Zaugg, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elvira Wille, whom he married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 21, 1958, and with whom he shared a devoted partnership until her passing.
A Master Electrician, Albert worked on numerous projects and companies before becoming a partner in Tri-Western Associates. A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served as a young missionary in Switzerland and later with Elvira at Martin’s Cove from 2005 to 2006. He taught his faith quietly through the steady example of his life.
Albert and Elvira raised six children in Millcreek and Holladay, Utah. He found deep joy in hunting, fishing, boating, traveling, and gardening. He is survived by his children Rodney (Nancy) Perschon, Rosi (Werner) Haidenthaller, Myron (Karma) Perschon, Lucinda (David) Fischer, and Danette (Larry) Horkley, as well as 28 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Richard (Kathleen) Perschon and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Rochelle, his parents, and his siblings David Perschon (Hazel), Lois Jones (Dean), and Mary Joyce Walkenhorst (William).
