Albert Joseph Samuels

Albert Joseph Samuels, affectionately known as “Stitch,” passed away unexpectedly at his home in Waterbury, Connecticut on March 5, 2026. He was 72. Born on March 29, 1953 in Roundhill, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, he was the third child of his parents, who predeceased him. Albert migrated to Waterbury in 1989 and worked at Albert Brass and Steel in Waterbury for sixteen years.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Linval and Hyacinth Samuels, his sister Adell Samuels, his nephews Romell, Laton, and Gregory, his nieces Janet, Natalie, Nilena, and Monica, as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Those who knew him will remember the quiet strength and enduring family ties that defined his life.
