Albert Doyle Walls

October 28, 1937 March 12, 2026

Hammond, LA

Albert Doyle Walls, a cherished husband, father, brother, and beloved patriarch, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Hammond, Louisiana. Born on October 28, 1937, in Pulaski, Tennessee, he was the son of Newt Walls and Eliza Roberts and was later raised by his stepfather, Glenn Roberts. Though these family members preceded him in death, their influence remained a lasting part of his life.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda N. Walls, whose steadfast love anchored their years together. Their marriage was blessed with five children: the late Kathy Douglas (Don), Judy Howard (Bill), Lisa Walls, Eddie Walls, and the late Chad Walls. He also leaves behind his brother, Wayne Walls (Delores).

Doyle’s family continued to grow with the births of his grandchildren, Amanda Douglas, Leslie Knight (Ben), David Pittman (Ashley), Brett Howard, Miranda Walls, Taylor Walls (Haleigh), Seth Walls, and Zach Walls. These grandchildren were enriched by his wisdom, kindness, and gentle guidance. His great-grandchildren—Noah Pittman, Ethan Walls, Emma Knight, Thomas Knight, James Knight, and Hunter Walls—knew the warmth of their great-grandfather’s presence.

Albert Doyle Walls lived a life defined by heartfelt connections, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. His passing leaves a profound void, yet those who loved him remain deeply grateful for the enduring legacy of love and affection he so generously shared. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
