Alan Wayne Scruggs, age 65, of Sardis, Mississippi, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Wayne was a lifelong resident of Sardis, where he put down deep roots and touched the lives of many. He is remembered fondly by those who knew him for his steady presence and the quiet strength he showed throughout his life. He leaves behind family and friends who will carry his memory with them.

A graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis, with Rev. Jim Scruggs officiating.
