Alan Lee Carlson

Alan Lee Carlson, 74, of Burlington, Colorado, passed away at his home on March 10, 2026.

Born on July 3, 1951, in Jamestown, New York, to Gerald and Kathleen (Kent) Carlson, Alan was one of three children. He grew up in Jamestown, graduated from Jamestown High School in 1969, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Oswego State University in Oswego, New York. He served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1973. Alan then devoted many years to the automotive industry in sales, retiring in July of 2024. He found great joy in spending time with his family and pursuing his passion for elk hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Kathleen Carlson.

Alan is survived by his wife, Danielle Carlson, of Burlington; his son, Jacob Carlson, and daughter, Breanne Carlson, both of Burlington; his sister, Sheryl Jakorber, of Arvada, Colorado; his brother, Steve Carlson, of Jamestown, New York; and several nieces and nephews.
