Alan L. Pritchard

Alan L. Pritchard, age 71, of Albion, Indiana, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born on July 23, 1954, in Wolf Lake, Indiana, he was the son of Jack and Roberta (Birch) Pritchard.

A graduate of Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1972, Alan spent his working years at Buchanan Automotive, Trier Ford, and City Ford before retiring. He was a longtime member of Blue River Covenant Brethren Church in Columbia City. Alan found quiet joy in reading, regularly sending cards to family and friends, collecting comic books and figurines, following Star Trek, and watching movies.

He is survived by his daughters, Sarah (Forest) Patterson of South Whitley and Jen (Justin) Wolpert of Huntington; five grandchildren; his sisters, Linda Hartman and Penny (Ron) McCain, both of Columbia City, and Pam Calhoon of Highland Mills, New York; and his fiancée, Barbara Gray of Loughrea, Ireland. He was preceded in death by his parents.
