Aime-Jean (Tex) Carriere

Tex Carriere passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Villa Youville in Ste Anne, Manitoba.

Predeceased by his parents Jean-Yves and Irene, and his sisters Rose, Grace, and Annette, Tex will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Chantal, and his granddaughters Ayla and Evelyn Willow. He is also survived by his sisters Lorraine (Barry), Leonne (Cyril), Gisele (Marcel), Lise (Paul), Yvette (Dave), and Marie, his brothers Denis and Yves (Donna), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Tex will be fondly remembered by his special friend Janine St Hilaire and her family.

A man who lived life on his own terms, Tex was known for his quiet strength and the gentle way he cared for those closest to him. His family will carry forward the love and memories they shared with him.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held in the spring. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Villa Youville for their kindness and compassionate care.
