It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aiko Smith (Colleyville, Texas), who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kihachi Yanaizawa and Toshi Yanaizawa; and her husband Floyd G. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Diane Salazar and Carlos Salazar Jr.; her grandchildren, Tara and Glenn Zahn; her great grandchildren, Jayden and Preston Zahn; her sisters, Miyano Kimura and Kazuko Takahashi; her sister-in-law Janis Smith Henry; and her family, Michael Hail, Nylyih Green, Tyler Glenn, JT Babin, Bryan Stephans and Marlon Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home (5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034, USA). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park (5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034, USA). A reception will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home (5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034, USA).
