Ahmya Blakeleigh Hodgson

2024 — 2026

Farmington, WV

Ahmya Blakeleigh Rose Hodgson, born on April 11, 2024, to McKennah Martin Hodgson and Michael Hodgson, passed away on March 10, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of McKennah and Michael, and a cherished sister to McKenleigh Grace Martin, Ryder Cole Martin, and Michael Johnathan Hodgson.

Ahmya was a sweet, mischievous, and playful little girl who brought joy and laughter to everyone around her. She loved tormenting her siblings in the most endearing way, and together they spent their days playing outside, doing each other’s makeup, and drawing on the walls. She cherished waking her Pappy each morning to watch Cocomelon and cuddle. Her favorite colors were pink and purple, and she delighted in eating pizza, spaghetti, and broccoli. Whether throwing dance parties in the living room, learning new words, or practicing her counting, Ahmya was remarkably bright and quick to pick up on everything around her. She was especially close to her Pappy and Mimi, and found comfort and happiness in the presence of her family.

She is survived by her grandparents Melanie LeeAnne Martin and husband Kenneth James (Bumper) Martin of Farmington, and Howard Moats of Nemacolin, Pennsylvania; great-grandparents Curtis Dexter McCoy of Virginia and Michelle Brown of Fairmont; along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will carry her memory in their hearts.
