Adelaida Peña

The memory of Adelaida Peña of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Noe P. Peña Sr.; her son Noe P. Peña Jr.; her sons-in-law, Dennis Angerman and Jody Freeman; her parents, Florentino Ramos and Juanita Ramos; and her siblings, Sesario Ramos, Jimmy Ramos, Herman Ramos, Gloria Sanchez, Clara Rascon and Ernestine Chavarria.

She is survived by: her children, Henry Herrera, Norma Angerman, Noreen Freeman, Nora Breaux (Randy) and Marie Bouzigard (Matt); her grandchildren, Makelle, Kristy, Wade, Paige, Jake, Tony, Todd, Triston, Cohen and Sophia; and her sisters, Thomasa Moreno and Lois Morales. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church (409 Funderburk Ave, Houma, LA 70364). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
