Adam McCollom ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Southern Mississippi Funeral Services on Mar. 16, 2026.Thomas "Adam" McCollom, 36, of Latimer, Mississippi, died Sunday, March 8th, 2026 in Vancleave, Mississippi.Adam is preceeded in death by his paternal Grandparents; Wendell Austin McCollom and Bennie Jean McCollom, and his maternal Grandparents; Charles Wesley Liles and Marianna A. Liles.He is survived by his parents Wendell Wayne McCollom and Carol Ann McCollom, his brother Wendell C. McCollom (Kathryn Joan Elias-McCollom) and his nieces Kendell Rose McCollom and Annelise Violet McCollom.Adam enjoyed reading, boardgames, motorcycling, playing UNO, and hanging out with his friends and family. He also enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons.Adam was a 2008 St. Martin High School graduate with perfect attendance and he was proud of his accomplishment. In 2011 Adam received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He was employed with the Mississippi Dept of Transportation.Adam was always willing to lend a hand to anyone and he never met a stranger. He was loved by all who knew him. Adam always had his Boxer, Sugar, of 15 years, by his side until her death February 11, 2026. Adam enjoyed spending time with his family who he loved dearly. Adam had a heart of gold and wasn't shy about showing his love. We will mis his smile and embrace until we meet again in Heaven. We will cherish all our precious memories with Adam forever. If love could have saved Adam, he never would have passed.Visitation will be from 11am-12pm, on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services. Services will be held immediately after visitation at 12pm. Internment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.Southern Mississippi Funeral Services are honored to service the McCollom family.
